It took a while, but we're back. The latest housing news says home prices have recovered to where they were in pre-recession 2006. That's according to the S&P CoreLogic Case-Schiller U.S. National HomePrice Index.

There was a startling decline in dementia rates between 2000 and 2012 - 24%!  As reported in JAMA Internal Medicine, the decline is attributed to 2 fairly surprising reasons.
